We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Slade Williams with WPC Metal Working, a proud alumnus of Spring Hill ISD, for the generous donation of an Edwards Ironworker to the Spring Hill High School Welding program. This incredible piece of equipment will significantly increase the efficiency of our program by allowing students to cut metal into the sizes needed for instruction and fabrication.
We are also grateful to Edwards Ironworkers for donating a new set of punches and dies, ensuring that the machine is fully equipped and ready for use.
Special thanks to Cassity Jones for stepping in with a forklift to unload and move the Ironworker into place—your help made it all possible!
Under the direction of Instructor Corey Wright, this upgraded capability will help prepare students with hands-on experience and skills they can carry into the workforce.
