Spring Hill ISD is asking voters to consider two ballot items in the upcoming election:
- A Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election (VATRE) for district operations.
- A Bond Proposal for facility maintenance and improvements.
Both measures are designed to address current and future needs of students, staff, and the community.
VATRE INFORMATION - PROPOSITION A
With the Voter-Approval Tax Ratification Election (VATRE), voters will be asked to consider a three-cent increase to the Maintenance and Operations (M&O) tax rate that would generate approximately $304,000 annually in funding for school district operations. This includes teacher and staff compensation, instructional materials, student support services, and extracurricular activities.
BOND INFORMATION - PROPOSITIONS B, C, D
The bond package consists of three separate propositions designed to address educational and extracurricular facility maintenance needs. The bond package is designed to address these important facility maintenance needs with NO INCREASE IN INTEREST & SINKING (I&S) TAX RATE.
Registered voters residing within the SHISD boundaries will be asked to vote on the propositions during Early Voting and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 4, 2025.
The deadline to register to vote or update your address or last name for this election is Monday, October 6, 2025.
