Spring Hill ISD Announces Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian

 

Spring Hill ISD proudly recognizes two students whose commitment to excellence has earned them the highest honors of their graduating class. Jack Cooper is the Spring Hill Class of 2026 Valedictorian, and Brynlee Catt is the Spring Hill Class of 2026 Salutatorian.


Jack Cooper, son of Ethan and Megan Cooper, is honored to graduate as the Valedictorian of the Spring Hill High School Class of 2026. Throughout high school he was actively involved in the Blue Brigade, serving as French Horn Co‑Section Leader. Additionally, Jack competed in Academic UIL, was a member of the Math/Science team, and served in the National Honor Society. In the fall, Jack plans to major in cybersecurity at LeTourneau University where he has been awarded the prestigious Presidential Scholarship. In his personal time, Jack enjoys playing video games and listening to music. He extends his sincere appreciation to God, his family, his friends, and his teachers for their unwavering support during his 13 years at Spring Hill ISD.


Brynlee Catt, daughter of Bobby and Carrie Catt, is the Salutatorian of the Spring Hill High School Class of 2026 and an AP Scholar with Distinction. During her time at Spring Hill, she was a member of the National Honor Society for two years, serving as Treasurer her senior year, and a member of Student Council, serving as Secretary her senior year. Brynlee was also very involved in athletics, serving as team captain for both the Varsity Cross Country and Lady Panther Soccer teams. Both sports teams advanced past district competition all 3 years she was involved, and Brynlee received Academic All-District for both teams all 3 years. In soccer, she received the Panther Award and Honorable Mention All-District as a sophomore, 2nd Team All-District as a junior, and 1st Team All-District as a senior. She was also named to the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Elite Team as a senior, the highest academic award for high school athletes. Brynlee has participated in Academic UIL for three years, where she won second place in District Spelling her sophomore year. She has also competed in Citizens’ Bee for two years, where she won third place her senior year. She was a part of the Leaders’ Core organization her junior year. She is very committed to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, where she has served with the children’s ministry and on mission trips. Brynlee will attend the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in the fall, where she will study Nursing with hopes to become a Nurse Practitioner in a Neonatal Unit.
