Dear Spring Hill ISD Families and Community,
On Tuesday, October 20, Spring Hill ISD received a phone call involving a threat to school safety. In response, campuses were placed on Hold / Lockdown status while the District worked closely with law enforcement to investigate the situation.
After a thorough investigation by the Longview Police Department, the threat was deemed non-credible. The District then proceeded with the safe dismissal of students.
The top priority at Spring Hill ISD is the safety and well-being of our students and staff. Students and families are encouraged to report any safety concerns to a school staff member.
We truly appreciate the prompt response of our local emergency personnel, as well as the continued support of our Spring Hill ISD families and community.
Sincerely,
Penny Fleet
Superintendent of Schools
Spring Hill ISD
