Serving Spring Hill High School are Melinda Tidwell, Jared Rascoe, and Weston Griffis
Melinda Tidwell, Principal
Melinda Tidwell brings 32 years of dedicated experience to her role at Spring Hill ISD, where she is currently serving in her eighth year of leadership. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Southern Methodist University, as well as a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership.
Mrs. Tidwell and her husband, Tript, are proud parents of two sons who are both alumni of Spring Hill. When she is not supporting students and faculty, she cherishes quality time with her family, and enjoys traveling and watching sports.
Jared Rascoe, Assistant Principal
Jared Rascoe has worked in education for nine years. He spent five of those years teaching math, and this is his fourth year serving as an Assistant Principal at Spring Hill High School. During his career he has forged countless meaningful relationships with staff and students. Mr. Rascoe believes building relationships with students and letting them know they are supported is critical to student success.
He has been married to his wife, Randi, for five years. They enjoy spending time with family, gardening, cooking and watching LSU Football. Mr. Rascoe also spends as much time as possible outdoors enjoying hunting and fishing.
Weston Griffis, Assistant Principal
With 17 years of experience in education, Weston Griffis is currently serving in his second year as an administrator. He spent most of his career coaching high school football, including a previous three-year stint at Spring Hill, where he also completed his student teaching. For Mr. Griffis, returning to Spring Hill this year feels like coming home. He and his wife, Tera, have a daughter. In his free time, he loves spending time with his wife on the golf course and actively serving at their church.
